Dance Around the World – USA

Week 2 of Dance Around the World takes us to the USA to learn a Disco number. The Disco style is popular around the world but is thought to have been formed in 1970’s United States of America. Disco is a mix of popular dance styles and relies on lots of improvisation!

Watch the video and try out some of the moves yourself, you can pause the video and rewind to practice some of the more difficult skills or you can make up your own moves using Kirsty’s dance as inspiration!

Dance Around the World – India

This week Kirsty shows you a new dance style which originates in India! The Bollywood style is incredibly popular in India and is the basis for many films in Indian culture, it involves lots of spins and twists and is a challenging style because dancers are constantly moving with the music!
