Amber Valley SSP work closely with local secondary schools, colleges and further education settings to provide opportunities for young people to develop employability skills in a practical setting through our well-established work experience programme.
Each Amber Valley school is afforded a small number of places for Y10 and Y12 students to apply for with a mock recruitment process in place including application, interview and induction.
Students work alongside AVSSP staff to support the delivery of PE, Extra-curricular provision, Physical Activity programmes & events aiming to provide a well-rounded and immersive experience for pupils in the Sport & Education sector.
AVSSP also regularly work alongside schools to contribute to careers and employability development within schools supporting with careers fairs, mock interviews, CV writing workshops and more on offer to support schools and students.
