Inclusive Sports and Activity Club
Amber Valley SSP work with Amber Valley Borough Council and GOGA team to provide a high quality, regular community sports club. The club is supplemented by funding received from Amber Valley Borough Councils GOGA initiative, which allows pupils to attend FREE of charge.
The club, hosted at Croft Infant School, Marshall Street, Alfreton DE55 7BW, is aimed exclusively at providing sport and social activity provision for children with physical disabilities or profound learning difficulties. The club will start starting Tuesday 7th February 2023 from 4-5pm running for 20 weeks during term time up until Tuesday 18th July 2023.
Hosted weekly the club is child led with sporting activities including Boccia, Kurling, Seated Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball, Goalball, Polybat and more. There will also be a range of games, construction and messy play available. Led by AVSSP’s specialist inclusive coach.
