About Us

Amber Valley School Sport Partnership (AVSSP) has been in existence since 2006. We initially began as a nationwide attempt to engage and improve schools participation in sports, physical activity and physical education. In 2015 AVSSP officially became a charity with the aim of improving the whole community and surrounding areas through health and sports interventions.

Our moto is ‘making a difference’ and as a charity we have ambition to do just that. We endeavour to increase and improve in our many areas of involvement across our community which you can find in the what we do section of our website. We want to create a community of fit, healthy and happy people that enjoy the many health and wellbeing benefits gained from physical Activity and Sport.
