Roles and Responsibilities 

 

Board of Trustees 

Our trsutees are in place to oversee the AVSSP CIO operation which should ensure that good practice within the organisation is upheld, we work towards our objectives, are accountable and ensure that through positive work that staff are able to prove experiences to young people in Amber Valley achieve their potential. 

Trustees;

Chair – Kelvin Gibbs – Headteacher of Mundy Junior School

Trustee: Sarah Tew – Headteacher of Loscoe Primary School

Trustee: Matt Crawford – Headetacher of Richardson Primary School

Trustee: Paula Doleman – Headteacher of Ripley Infant School

Secretarial support: Sue Brown from Swanwick School and Sports College

 

Managers – Phil Basterfield and Mark Ozenbrook 

Manage the finance and risk of the organisation

Operational management of the business

Manage programmes internally and externally

Manage relationships with the schools and partners

Develop income streams

Manage recruitment and staff management

Complete the necessary reporting to the charity commission and external funders

 

Admin and Finance – Sue Pacey

Manage the finance and administration of the organisation

Maintain true and accurate records

Prepare finance for end of year return

Undertake payroll duties for employees

 

 

PE Support staff – Adam White, Alex Lund, James Smith, Andy Rhodes, Emma Mosscrop, Rachel Wilson, Danny Willdig, Cheryl Naylor 

Work within schools to develop PE, School Sport and Physical Activity programmes

Ensure high quality delivery and team teaching are operational in every school

Ensure that best practice and safeguarding is upheld in each school

Be an advocate of the role, the organisation and the opportunities available to young people

 

School Sport Officer – Rob Shaw 

Manage the secondary school programme

Manage the Borough Council contribution and programme

Resonsible for the satellite club and sportivate programmes

Manage the operational and delivery of the School Games

 

School competition support – Laura Trapp

Competition and website administration

 

Five 60 delivery – Liam Start

Delivery of the Five60 programme across the borough

Delivery of high quality programming

Report and feedback delivery stats and evaluations
